Investigators want to hear from anyone who witnessed the Sept. 12 incident, particularly anyone who was in a white, late model Rav4 Toyota.
The Sûreté du Québec is seeking the public’s assistance in locating witnesses to the death last week of a man on Highway 40 at l’Acadie Blvd.
On Sept. 12 around 9 p.m., emergency services were called after the body of a man was found on the lane of westbound Highway 40. A preliminary investigation indicated that the man, who was declared dead at the scene, fell from the l’Acadie overpass and was then hit as he lay on the ground by a vehicle on travelling Highway 40. Investigators say the vehicle in question, which did not remain at the scene, was a white, late model Rav4 Toyota.
