LCD Soundsystem just announced they’ll be swooping into Maspeth’s Knockdown Center for 12 shows over three long weekends that promise special guest bands, after parties, international deejays, a DFA Records-centric swap meet and a version of James Murphy’s Michelin-starred Four Horsemen wine bar on the premises.
The dozen gigs are currently set to take place Nov. 21-24, Dec. 5-8 and 12-15.
According to Pitchfork, “this marks the fourth year in a row that LCD Soundsystem have thrown a New York residency, following shows in 2021, 2022, and 2023—although the first of those was cut short due to a surge of COVID-19 rates.”
Prior to the supersized New York run, James Murphy and co. are slated to headline Las Vegas’ Life Is Beautiful Block Party (Sept. 27-28) and conduct mini-residencies at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall (Oct. 31 through Nov. 3) and Hollywood Palladium (Nov. 7-10).
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming LCD Soundsystem shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the Knockdown Center shows is Thursday, Sept. 26.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
