The Giants offense can’t just be all about Malik Nabers

Imagine the outrage, the criticism, the old-fashioned bewilderment if the Giants had completed the first two games of their season and Malik Nabers was not a central figure in their passing attack.

Imagine the cries of, “Why the heck did you draft him if you weren’t going to use him?’’ if Nabers had registered merely a handful of catches and the Giants were what they are — winless after two games.

That sentiment will not be explored in this space. No one can make a cogent argument that Nabers is not being used enough.

Try this one on for size: The Giants have to chill out a bit with Nabers because there is such a thing as going to a player — even one who looks as special and talented as Nabers does — too often.
