A spokesperson says it involved two armoured vehicles and the injuries were minor.
More than a dozen soldiers were sent to a hospital Tuesday afternoon after an accident at the Valcartier military base outside Quebec City.
Capt. Hermione Wilson, a public affairs officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, said the accident at CFB Valcartier’s training area involved two armoured vehicles.
She said civilian and military emergency services responded immediately to the scene, and 16 members of the 5 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.
