Lauren Sánchez can’t wait to walk down the aisle.
The former entertainment journalist spoke to “Extra” Monday about her upcoming wedding to Jeff Bezos, saying she is “most excited” to “get to marry the man of [her] dreams.”
She gushed, “He’s amazing. I get to spend the rest of my life with him, and he loves my kids. And that is really what I am looking forward to.”
Sánchez, 54, has three children: son Nikko, 23, with her ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez as well as son Evan, 18, and daughter Ella, 16, with her ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell.
The helicopter pilot and Bezos, 60, went public with their romance in 2019, with the Amazon founder getting down on one knee four years later.
The bride-to-be shared her proposal story with Vogue in November 2023.
“When he opened the box, I think I blacked out a bit,” she said of seeing her cushion-cut diamond ring.
Sánchez added, “We’re still thinking about the wedding, what it’s going to be. Is it going to be big? Is it going to be overseas? We don’t know yet.”
While she said Thursday that she has been “focusing” on the release of her children’s book, “The Fly Who Flew to Space,” she is “get[ting] to the wedding soon.”
When “Extra” host Billy Bush jokingly offered to be her ring bearer, Sánchez replied, “Oh, that’s good. That’s good. I was looking for one.”
The “excited” ex-news anchor did not provide further details about the date or location of her and Bezos’ nuptials.
The businessman was previously married to MacKenzie Scott, with whom he shares three children.
Sánchez called their blended family the “Brady Brunch” while speaking to WSJ. magazine in January 2023.
“On a typical Saturday, we hang out, we have dinner with the kids, which is always fun because you never know where the conversation is going to go with this many kids,” she said.
Sánchez and Bezos were both present at her eldest son’s college graduation in June.
