Prepare to have your face melted off.
Deftones just announced a 2025 North American tour with special guests The Mars Volta and Fleshwater that will send the trio to arenas all over the U.S. from February through April.
Near the end of the nationwide run, they’ll drop into New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday, April 3.
The 24-concert trek will be the band’s first official tour since spring 2022. In the two years since the last jaunt, they headlined a number of festivals, played alongside System of a Down in San Francisco and hosted their own annual, San Diego-based Dia de los Deftones Festival multiple times.
This year’s edition of Dia de los Deftones is scheduled to take place at Petco Park on Saturday, Nov. 2. Notable acts joining the group this time around include British rockers Idles, emo icons Sunny Day Real Estate (performing their 1994 debut album “Diary” in its entirety), experimental noise band Health, Hip-Hop duo Paris Texas and indie vets Duster.
“It’s like putting together a mix tape, but it’s a live show and you can put different artists together in one live setting… It’s a well-rounded event that — even if we weren’t performing at it — I think we’d enjoy going to as music fans,” Moreno shared with the San Diego Union-Tribune ahead of the inaugural fest.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Deftones shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the 2025 North American tour is Friday, Sept. 20.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
