Jets edge rusher Jermaine Johnson’s girlfriend, Hannah Brooke, is looking forward to his comeback after he suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in a win over the Titans on Sunday.
Brooke — a cast member on the fifth season of “Too Hot To Handle,” a Netflix dating show, last summer — shared her support for Johnson in a message on her Instagram Story.
“Coming back stronger,” Brooke wrote with three red heart emojis. “Keep faith.
“Thank you to everyone for your prayers and wishing Jermaine a speedy recovery.”
Brooke included a post from Johnson, which featured a photo of him down on the field before he was carted off late in the third quarter of New York’s eventual 24-17 victory.
“Til next time, 11” he wrote.
“You are the hulk and nothing will stop you,” Brooke, who is a singer and performer, wrote in the comments. “You’re coming out of this stronger than ever and I can’t wait to see it!!
The influencer, who has 462,000 followers on Instagram, is also a model, fitness trainer and actress.
Johnson and Brooke, both 25, went public with their relationship when she shared photos of the couple kissing on the sidelines when the Jets beat the Giants in a preseason finale at MetLife Stadium last August.
Johnson said his MRI results on Monday determined he tore his right Achilles.
“It’s official man. MRI just came back positive. Well, negative information but positive results,” he said in a video posted to X, which showed him leaving the Jets facility on a leg scooter.
“I did tear my Achilles but we good, man. We in great spirits. We’re gonna get back right. This is another opportunity to brag about what I came from.”
Johnson is one of the better run defenders on the Jets’ roster.
His absence puts pressure on the Jets and could impact negotiations with Pro Bowl edge rusher Hasson Reddick, who made a trade request that was denied by the team in August.
Reddick skipped training camp and the Jets’ opening two games of the season thus far.
The Jets (1-1) have a short week and play their first divisional game against the Patriots (1-1) at MetLife Stadium on Thursday.
