Another TV season is in the books.
With last night’s Emmy Awards, the 2023-2024 TV season has officially come to a close, and by the end of the night, FX came out on top with 36 total wins. The network was second to Netflix in total nominations, but the FX series “Shōgun” and “The Bear” were the two most nominated series of the night.

14 different shows were honored during the main Emmys telecast with a handful of snubs and surprises; below, we’ve roundedthem up along with where you can stream them.
‘Shōgun’
“Shōgun” was the night’s big winner. Nominated for 25 total awards, the FX series took home 18 total, including big wins for lead actress Anna Sawai, lead actor Hiroyuki Sanada, and the night’s biggest prize, Outstanding Drama Series.
The FX original series, which also streams on Hulu, may return for a second season as Sanada has reportedly signed a contract to return to the series.
‘The Bear’
“The Bear” went into the evening as the second-most nominated show with 23 and emerged with the second-most wins. Among the 11 categories won are three of the four acting in a comedy awards: Outstanding Lead Actor (Jeremy Allen White, for the second Emmys in a row), Outstanding Supporting Actress (Liza Colón-Zayas), and Outstanding Supporting Actor (Ebon Moss-Bachrach, also winning his second Emmy).
The FX on Hulu original won awards for its acclaimed second season last night, meaning this summer’s third season will be recognized at next year’s Emmys.
‘Baby Reindeer’
This year’s most-awarded limited series is Netflix’s “Baby Reindeer,” an autobiographical dramedy created by and starring Scottish comedian Richard Gadd.
In addition to winning Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, Gadd took home two awards — Outstanding Lead Actor and Outstanding Writing — and breakout star Jessica Gunning was named Outstanding Supporting Actress.
‘Hacks’
Max original “Hacks” entered the evening with 16 nominations, and though the show only took home three, two of them were in major upsets (where something else, perhaps “The Bear” was expected to win): Jean Smart won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy, while the show won the biggest comedy award of the night, Outstanding Comedy Series.
‘The Morning Show’
Last night, Billy Crudup won his second Emmy for portraying Cory Ellison on Apple TV+‘s “The Morning Show” (his first was in 2020 following the show’s first season). The show won an additional two Emmys this year.
‘The Crown’
In her second year nominated for portraying Diana, Princess of Wales in Netflix’s “The Crown,” Elizabeth Debicki took home the statuette for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama. The show won an additional two trophies.
‘The Daily Show’
Jon Stewart, in his first year returning to “The Daily Show” after an initial departure in 2015, accepted the award for Outstanding Variety Talk Series. The show also won Outstanding Picture Editing For Variety Programming Segment.
‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’
In its second Emmys competing in a new category, John Oliver’s “Last Week Tonight” continued to reign supreme at the Emmys, taking home statuettes for Outstanding Scripted Variety Series and Outstanding Writing for a Scripted Variety Series.
It marks the weekly show’s ninth consecutive Emmy in either the Scripted Variety series or Talk Variety Series category.
‘The Traitors’
There’s a new Outstanding Reality Competition Series on the block! After four consecutive wins, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” was dethroned by Peacock‘s “The Traitors.” The show’s host, actor Alan Cumming, also took home Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program,
