Fire crews from Calgary and Rocky View County battled a large structure fire Saturday in Springbank, west of city limits.
The blaze engulfed an acreage on Rosewood Drive, near Horizon View Road and south of Springbank Road.
Neighbours told Postmedia the fire started shortly after 10 a.m. and claimed the family of the home that burned down moved in about eight years ago.
