2024 Nissan Ariya gets mid-year price drop, starts at $49,998

In Canada, the MSRP on the electric sport-utility will be lowered by $3,000 to $5,000, depending on trim

  • 2024 Nissan Ariya gets a mid-year price drop of between $3,000 and $5,000
  • That means the EV SUV lineup will now start at $49,998, instead of $52,998
  • Also: for 2025, Nissan Canada will begin offering EVs with a NACS port

The top Evolve trim with the Platinum package will now start at $64,998, a reduction of $5,000 from its previous starting price of $69,998.

The new 2024 Nissan Ariya pricing is as follows:

“The revised pricing for the 2024 Nissan Ariya aims to enhance its competitive edge and provide optimal value to our customers in an ever-evolving electric vehicle market,” said Trevor Longley, president, Nissan Canada Inc.

For 2024, the Ariya is offered with two battery sizes — that’s a 63-kWh or 87-kWh long-range battery — in either front-wheel- or all-wheel-drive. It’ll get an estimated 465 km (289 miles) of electric range.

While a price drop is always welcome, it leaves us wondering where the MSRP will end up for model-year 2025; we can only speculate prices will go back up next year. At worst, we can only hope the highest those 2025 prices will go is back to the original 2024 pricing, right?
