Peter Andre just owned a follower who questioned why he doesn’t show his baby’s face online.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker, 51, and wife Emily MacDonagh, 34, welcomed their daughter Arabella in April.
He’s now a dad to five children: son Junior, 18, and 16-year-old daughter Princess with his ex-wife Katie Price, and nine-year-old daughter Amelia and son Theo, six, with Emily.
While his eldest children are making their own way online, with Junior forging out a music career and Princess following in her mum’s modelling footsteps, Pete has understandably kept his youngest daughter’s face out of the spotlight.
Pete posted a picture of little Arabella’s cute little triangle of hair on the back of her head on Instagram yesterday, as the doting dad kissed her on the forehead.
Commenting on the picture, Peter wrote: ‘Love her and the little triangle on the back of her head. So much.’
While many followers agreed the tuft of hair was adorable, one asked: ‘Why do you not [show] the faces of your children?’
Sensing the loaded nature of the question, many rushed to the I’m A Celebrity star’s defence, with user auntmaggie1967 commenting: ‘Because they do not want to. Get over it.’
lparksey37 added: ‘because he wants to show the back of her hair 😍which is beautiful and because she is his baby and he can do what he likes.’
Pete also replied to the comment, killing the troll with kindness as he wrote: ‘@lorrainenich58 Isn’t the back of her head cute? 😂❤️’
Back in 2021, Peter revealed he hides his younger children’s faces as he doesn’t want them to be recognised at school.
Speaking in a YouTube video, he said: ‘So Emily’s point is that they weren’t born into the media – no one has ever seen their faces so she doesn’t really want anyone to see their faces.
‘So when they go to school no one can really recognise them.’
In June the star opened up about how he is able to bond with Arabella unlike any of his other children, as he has more free time now.
‘This time we’re pretty sure it’s going to be our last one,’ he said.
‘Well, never say never. I’m not 100 per cent, but I’m enjoying having time to bond with her.’
He added: ’I’ve not really had that chance before with the others because of work, so I’m grateful for how this has turned out.’
He continued to tell The Sun that all his children want to spend time with their sister, adding: ‘Everyone wants time with her whenever they can. Junior goes to see her first thing.’
Peter and NHS doctor Emily spent a while deciding on a name before landing on Arabella Rose Andréa.
Writing in his column for OK! Magazine, Peter revealed: ‘I told Emily it was her turn to choose a baby name since she’d brought our baby into the world.
‘Emily wanted us to decide together, but when she suggested the name Arabella Rose, I instantly thought, “That’s so beautiful”.’
