Man and woman killed when motorcycle hit a cow on Sask. highway

Saskatchewan RCMP say a 45-year-old man from Spalding and a 51-year-old woman from Archerwill were declared dead at the scene.

Saskatchewan RCMP say a 45-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman were declared dead at the scene of a collision between a motorcycle and a cow on Tuesday night.

The crash on Highway 35 near Hendon was reported to Wadena RCMP around 10:30 p.m., RCMP said in a news release on Wednesday.

The man was from Spalding, Sask. and the woman was from Archerwill, Sask., the release said. Their names were withheld.

Wadena RCMP continue to investigate.

Hendon is about 200 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon.
