“And Just Like That…” they were together again.
Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Hudson reunited 16 years after starring in the “Sex and the City” movie.
The “American Idol” alum, 42, posted an Instagram photo Monday of herself and SJP, 59, hugging in front of the Eiffel Tower during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
“Look who I ran into in Paris !!” Hudson captioned the post before referencing their characters from the 2008 film. “Carrie and Louise reunited at last!”
The talk show host then quoted her character, writing, “Love is the thing, you know! 😉 #SATC.”
Hudson wore a chic oversize pink coat while Parker looked stylish in a denim dress, a black cardigan and long pearl necklaces.
The “Dreamgirls” star starred in the first “SATC” flick as Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant Louise, who helped the columnist rebuild her life after Big (Chris Noth) failed to show up at their wedding and therefore ending their relationship.
Louise, who hailed from St. Louis, is a romantic who carried a keychain that spelled out the word “Love” in big gold letters.
“I’m not going to give up on love,” she famously told the newly single Carrie (Parker), adding, “Love is the thing, you know!”
Louise ultimately helped mend Carrie’s broken heart before moving back home to marry the love of her life. As a parting gift, Carrie gifted Louise a Louis Vuitton bag so she no longer had to rent designer purses.
Fans flooded the comments section of J.Hud’s post to share words of nostalgia over the throwback moment.
“Love this!!!!! 👏👏👏👏 i can hear your voice saying ‘Love is a thing you know’! 😍,” one fan wrote.
“And Just Like That, we are taken back in time,” a second person commented.
“YES Louise from St. Louis! This is iconic!!! 😍,” a third exclaimed.
“Omg!!! I watched the movie yesterday!!! ❤️,” another chimed in.
“@justlikethatmax if there is a S4, please consider bring Louise back. We would love to catch up with our girl.💕,” a viewer suggested.
“this duo could run the world,” another added.
Earlier in the day, Hudson sang a show-stopping rendition of “Hallelujah” at the Palace of Versailles in Paris during the Olympic Games.
Meanwhile, Parker was seen watching the competitions with her husband, Matthew Broderick, and their kids.
