Tess McCracken is at a loss for words following gymnast boyfriend Stephen Nedoroscik’s bronze-medal triumph with Team USA at the Paris Games on Monday.
Taking to Instagram, the Penn State alum posted a heartfelt message to the 25-year-old athlete, whose exhilarating performance on the pommel horse in the men’s team all-around final propelled the U.S. to its first medal victory since 2008.
“History = Made,” McCracken began. “The most insane, magical day watching you close it out to bring home the first team medal for USA in sixteen years🇺🇸 Words can’t capture how proud I am of you.”
Nedoroscik, who has been dating McCracken for more than eight years, earned a score of 14.866 for his routine, as the United States placed third at 257.793, finishing behind Japan (259.594) and China (259.062), respectively.

“It went really well today, I handled the nerves very well,” the Massachusetts native said. “I worked my whole life up to those 45 seconds.”
Moments after wrapping the routine, Nedoroscik celebrated with teammates Asher Hong, Paul Juda, Brody Malone and Fred Richard inside Bercy Arena.
Brett McClure, the high-performance director for USA Gymnastics, lauded the squad’s performance, stating, “We’re trending in the right direction.”
“Japan and China are still in another category. If we want to get better and push for first place in LA [in 2028], this is going to be extremely motivating,” he said.
A first-time Olympian, Nedoroscik expressed gratitude to McCracken earlier this month upon learning he’d be packing his bags for Paris.
“To my beautiful cheerleader @tess.mccracken I couldn’t have done it without you ❤️ I love you,” he gushed on Instagram.
Nedoroscik and McCracken marked eight years of dating on July 4.
“What a lucky man I am to have you by my side throughout this journey,” he posted on social media. I cant imagine where I’d be without you supporting me everyday. Happy 8 years Tess, I love you.”
The Olympics run through Aug. 11.
