Although Jason Kelce is retired, he showed his fiery edge remains at the 2024 Paris Games.
On Sunday, the former Philadelphia Eagles center was challenged by Team USA women’s rugby star Nicole Heavirland to an arm wrestling match.
Although Kelce won, eyebrows were satirically raised at him holding onto the table for extra strength and stability.
“@jason.kelce holding on to that table a little bit? 🤣,” Heavirland wrote as a comment to the video, titled “Challenged Jason Kelce to an arm wrestle”
“I tried to warn you!” Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, commented on Heavirland’s Instagram.
Jason even added, “Holding onto something with your off hand is completely within the rules of the International federation of Arm Wrestling.”

Travis Kelce, Jason’s brother, also posted the viral clip on the New Heights podcast’s Instagram account.
“If you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying,” the caption read, accompanied by a crying laughing emoji. “Thanks for letting him win @nicole406heavirland.”
Kelce was then spotted talking to rugby star Ilona Maher, wearing a jersey that multiple players signed.
Maher delivered her sales pitch for Kelce to become a Team USA rugby fan in the conversation.
“Women’s water polo has Flava Flav as their super fan. And you are a girl dad, do you get anything from being our super fan? No,” she said.
“There’s no money, no benefits, um I don’t have any free stuff. But if you want to be our super fan, you just need to say I’m a fan.”
“I am officially a fan,” he replied, with cheers roaring in the background.
Kelce picked a good time to support the squad, as the Americans have flourished in their first two Olympic games.
