Video shows Twitch star Kai Cenat drawing crowds at NYC park after 2023 Union Square riot

The popular Twitch streamer whose video game giveaway turned into an out of control riot in Union Square still hasn’t learned his lesson.

Kai Cenat — who is worth at least $14 million and boasts more than 10 million followers each on Instagram, Twitch and TikTok — was caught on video traipsing through Washington Square Park last week like a Pied Piper, with a gaggle of at least two dozen admirers trailing him.

“The flockin over this short dreddy,” the eight-second long Instagram story, posted by user @sergflock, was captioned.

Cenat, 22, caused chaos in Union Square in August, after massive crowds swamped the famed area after he announced he was giving away a PS5 video game console.

The situation quickly turned violent, with fans brawling with and throwing bottles and other items at one another, as well as innocent bystanders and responding NYPD officers.

Cenat didn’t have a permit and was eventually charged with inciting a riot and unlawful assembly, but Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced May 7 he was dropping the charges against the gamer.

The live streamer issued a public apology and paid $55,000 to the Union Square Partnership, Inc., according to Bragg.

Cenat could not be reached for comment.
