Justin Timberlake will face a Long Island judge Friday morning for a court appearance on his DWI charge from last month.
It is unclear if the pop singer, 43, will appear at the 9:30 a.m. proceedings in person or if a lawyer will appear on his behalf – as he is also set to perform two shows in Poland as part of his Forget Tomorrow World tour.
Timberlake made headlines when he was arrested in Sag Harbor in the early hours of June 18 after he blew through a stop sign near the swanky American Hotel.
The NSYNC alum failed a field sobriety test and was arrainged on a single DWI count.
Timberlake is “prepared to face whatever consequences he needs to,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
“He is hoping to learn from this experience and put it behind him,” the source added – noting that the singer’s wife, actress Jessica Biel, is “extremely supportive and helping him navigate everything.”
Timberlake’s arrest immediately sparked a slew of internet memes – particularly after news broke that the cop who pulled him over did not recognize the former tween heartthrob.
When Timberlake protested that his arrest would “ruin the tour,” the confused officer needed him to explain further.
At his first post-arrest concert in Chicago, the dad of two thanked his fans for sticking by him.
“It’s been a tough week,” he admitted at the time. “I know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you keep on loving me and I love you right back.”
