Woman charged after Wednesday police chase through Saskatoon streets, park

A 24-year-old woman faces multiple charges after leading police through King George and Holiday Park in a stolen van on Wednesday morning.

A short time later, the van was seen driving west on 15th Street West near Weldon Avenue.

Officers approached the vehicle and the driver sped away, proceeding through several intersections at high speed, the release noted.

When the van entered a park in the 1600 block of Avenue P South, officers were able to use a tire deflation device. It was stopped in the 1500 block of 16th Street West.
