Second gentleman Doug Emhoff’s ex-wife released a statement in the vice president’s defense Thursday after Republican VP candidate JD Vance’s sexist comments calling her a “childless cat lad[y].”

Kirsten, who welcomed son Cole, 29, and daughter Ella, 25, with Doug before their divorce, slammed the “baseless attacks” on Harris.

“For over 10 years, since Cole and Ella were teenagers, Kamala has been a co-parent with Doug and I,” Kirsten, 57, told CNN.

“She is loving, nurturing, fiercely protective and always present,” she continued. “I love our blended family and am grateful to have her in it.”

Kirsten and Doug, 59, were married from 1992 to 2008 before he wed Harris, also 59, in 2014.

The former California senator became President Biden’s second-in-command when he entered the White House in 2021 — and she is now the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election after he dropped out of the race.

Biden, 81, endorsed Harris minutes after stepping aside last Sunday.

At the Republican National Convention days prior, former President Donald Trump was selected as the party’s pick, with Vance, 39, as his vice president.

A 2021 Fox News interview with the “Hillbill Elegy” author subsequently resurfaced, going viral on X.

In his conversation with Tucker Carlson, Vance slammed women “without children.”

He said, “We are effectively run in this country … by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.”

Jennifer Aniston slammed the throwback clip via her Instagram Story Wednesday.

“I truly can’t believe this is coming from a potential VP of the United States,” wrote the “Friends” star, who has been vocal about her fertility struggles.

“All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day,” Aniston, 55, continued. “I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.”
