Christina Hall has the support of her first husband as she navigates her divorce from her third husband, Josh Hall.
“Life’s tough, s–t happens,” Tarek El Moussa — who was married to Christina from 2009 to 2018 — told E! News.
“We got one shot at life and we gotta do what’s best for us, so whatever she needs, we’re here to help.”
Christina, 41, and Josh, 43, were set to star in a new competition show opposite El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae Young; however, in light of the breakup the show will proceed as planned but without Josh.
“We support her,” Young, 36, said, adding that she’s confident the “Christina on the Coast” star will “get through this.”
Josh shocked fans when filed for divorce from Christina last week after nearly three years of marriage. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the split and noted the date of separation as July 8.
Josh requested his estranged wife pay alimony and wanted to terminate the court’s ability to award financial support from him to her, the filing showed.
The former couple won’t have to worry about child support or custody because they don’t have any children together. She does, however, co-parent kids Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8, with El Moussa and Hudson, 4, with her second husband, Ant Anstead.
The Halls didn’t have a prenuptial agreement in place, so the real estate agent requested “all property acquired during marriage, except those acquired by gift or bequest, to be equally divided,” including their Newport Beach, Calif. home.
Shortly after news of the divorce became public, the “Christina in the Country” host deleted the pair’s wedding photos from her Instagram account. She also removed a post about the origins of her then-secret romance with Josh.
Neither Christina nor Josh has spoken publicly about the split, though the “Flip or Flop” alum sent a message when she ran errands without her wedding ring.
Although it’s unclear what prompted the breakup, a source told People that the duo “had issues in the marriage for quite some time” before Josh officially decided to call it quits.
