Joe Jonas joked about flat-ironing his hair back when the Jonas Brothers member was starting his music career as a teenager.

“What was your least favorite hairdo of all time? Because you’ve had a lot of different looks,” Hannah Berner asked the “Sucker” singer in an interview shared to the comedian’s Instagram on Tuesday.

“There was a phase where I felt like I needed to flat-iron my hair,” Jonas replied, recalling his spiky punk-style coiffure.

The “Summer House” alum, 32, pressed the DNCE frontman — who now rocks his natural curls in an effortlessly tousled technique — about who exactly made him feel pressure to straighten his strands.

“Was that society or your brothers or your manager or you?” she inquired.

“Just being a teen pop star,” Jonas said, to which Berner joked that the idea was “relatable.”

When Berner asked Jonas if he would flat-iron his own hair in the mornings, Jonas admitted, “It took a team.”

Berner joked that he had his bandmate brothers Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas styling his hair.

“Kevin was better at it than me,” Joe said.

Berner also dove into Joe’s shower habits, asking if he used conditioner on his “beautiful, gorgeous hair.”

“Just on the back,” he said with a straight face, causing confusion for the stand-up star.

“I’m joking,” Joe laughed. “I don’t use conditioner. Every time I use conditioner I feel like it’s so slick.”

Berner then asked Joe if he washed his legs in the shower or if he just let the water slide down his body and do the work for him.

“I like a good trickle,” he said.

Berner shared in the caption of the video post that despite Joe’s success with his new song, “Work It Out,” she “won’t let him forget his old hair.”

Joe explored several hairstyles back in his youthful years. Along with his straight-pressed hair in his “Camp Rock” days, Joe has also let his locks grow long, wore it curly and even cut it into a mohawk.

The singer-songwriter has also dyed his hair different bold hues like when he went blond or tried different colored highlights like red and pink.
