Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have finally revealed the name of their fourth baby.

The couple, who share daughters James, nine, Inez, seven, and four-year-old Betty, welcomed another little one in early 2023, but have only just revealed their chosen name with fans.

While Ryan and Blake have kept all information about the tot under wraps, on addressing the audience at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in New York on Monday, the Canadian star divulged that the new addition’s name is Olin.

‘I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here,’ he said.

‘I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here: I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing – that is, the contents of this movie – that happens in your wondrous life.’

The 47-year-old concluded: ‘I love that my entire family is here.’

Ryan didn’t share the sex of the baby, but Olin is a Nordic boys’ name meaning ‘ancestor’s heir’ or ‘to inherit’.

As part of an appearance on the Today show in May, the actor joked that he and Blake were waiting on their friend Taylor Swift to choose a name for the baby as she had previously mentioned the names of the three older children on her tracks.

‘We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name is, and I’ll say this: We’re still waiting,’ Ryan joked.

The Proposal star added of the Getaway Car hitmaker: ‘She’s a prolific writer – I mean, what are we doing here? And ‘lazy’ is not a word I’d attach to Taylor.’

Ryan and Blake first met in 2010, on the set of Green Lantern, and went public with their romance the following year.

In 2012 they tied the knot, and have emerged as one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples with their constant pranks and loving words about one another.

While they usually mark birthdays with jokes, last year Ryan showered the Gossip Girl actress with affection on her 36th birthday.

‘The only thing irrevocably mine in the world is the love and appreciation and awe I feel for this person,’ Ryan, 46, captioned the post.

‘Witnessing her life is something I couldn’t take for granted if I tried. And believe me, I try.

‘Happy Birthday, @blakelively. You hung the damn moon.’

Shortly after welcoming Olin in early 2023, Ryan appeared on CNBC’s Power Lunch where he was congratulated on ‘the addition to your family,’ and asked ‘how is the little one doing?’

‘We’re very excited,’ Ryan said, appearing virtually from what appeared to be his home. ‘We wouldn’t do this four times if we didn’t love it.’

He added: ‘Everyone is doing great. Everyone is actually doing fantastic.

‘If we hadn’t figured it out by now, I think we’d be in deep, deep trouble! But it’s a zoo over here.’

Ryan was also asked straight out whether they had welcomed a boy or a girl, and simply laughed in response, saying: ‘I ain’t telling.’

While Ryan is constantly hitting headlines for his famous Wrexham AFC purchase with It’s Always Sunny star Rob McElhenney, the latest excitement is Deadpool & Wolverine, which is set to hit U.S. cinemas on Friday.

Both Ryan and Hugh Jackman will star in the film, which sees the beloved characters team up for the first time in Deadpool and Wolverine.

It’s been 24 years since the X-Men star Jackman debuted his claws and fans never thought they’d see him in the role again after he declared Logan (2017) was his last outing.
