Police say Jacqueline Katra hasn’t been seen since she left her home in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough on Wednesday afternoon.
Montreal police are asking for the public’s help as they search for a missing 81-year-old woman.
Jacqueline Katra hasn’t been seen since she left her home in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough on Wednesday afternoon.
She is of Lebanese descent and has white skin and red hair, police say. Katra wears glasses and speaks both French and English.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a forest green silk sweater and brown, light brown and white pants. She was wearing black shoes and carrying a blue purse, according to police.
She usually travels on foot or by taxi, police say, and may be confused.
Investigators and her family say they have reason to fear for her health and safety.
People with any information are asked to call 911 or contact their neighbourhood police station.
