Ibibio Sound Machine (9 p.m, Le Fairmount, $30). This Nigerian-British groove crew sounds like an updated Afro-punk version of famed New York new wave band Talking Heads. Singer Eno Williams has a little Grace Jones in her, to throw in some more ‘80s references. The band mashes up elements of funk, electro, highlife and Afrobeat to inspired effect. Get your booty on the floor tonight.
