Santé Québec hires four new senior managers

Patrick Thierry Grenier, Julie Boucher, Sonia Dugas and Vincent Lehouillier will work under CEO Geneviève Biron.

Four new members have joined the management team of the Santé Québec health agency, with further appointments planned by the end of summer. Their appointment was ratified by the board of directors of Santé Québec on July 12.

Patrick Thierry Grenier will serve as the chief of staff to the office of CEO, legal affairs and governance. Thierry Grenier has held various public functions, including as associate deputy minister at the justice ministry. Since last year, he has been assistant deputy minister for policies and programs within the Ministry of Families.

Julie Boucher has been named vice-president of public affairs and communications. She is a former journalist who has served in recent years in similar roles with Hydro-Québec and Via HFR.

Sonia Dugas will be vice-president of finance. She is currently an associate with financial consulting services at Deloitte where she has worked since 2019. She has worked in the health network, notably as director of financial resources and logistics at CHU Sainte-Justine and as assistant director financial resources at the CIUSSS du Nord-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.

Vincent Lehouillier will be vice-president of talent, culture and engagement. He is currently president and CEO and member of the board of directors of the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal. In recent years, he was assistant deputy minister in the health ministry.

“I have great confidence in these new members of our leadership team who will bring critical skills and perspectives to achieving our goals,” Santé Québec CEO Geneviève Biron said in a statement. “All together, we will aim to improve access and increase the population’s confidence in our health and social services.”
