President Biden trails ‘nearly every’ other Dem, including Kamala Harris, in disastrous poll

President Biden trails “nearly every” Democrat tested as an alternative party leader with voters — including Vice President Kamala Harris — in seven critical battleground states, according to a disastrous new poll.

A BlueLabs Analytics polling memo distributed to Democratic Party — which interviewed more than 15,000 voters in important swing states, including Pennsylvania — found that alternative candidates have an average three-point lead on the 81-year-old commander-in-chief.

“Nearly every tested Democrat performs better than the President. This includes Vice President Kamala Harris who runs better than the President,” the survey concluded.

Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.), Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer each were ahead of Trump “by roughly 5 points across battleground states” according to a BlueLabs Analytics polling memo.

However, Harris still also trailed behind the average alternative, which included Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.), Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer — each of whom beat Biden and Harris and were ahead of former President Donald Trump “by roughly 5 points across battleground states.”

“Some of the gains are coming from winning undecideds and those previously supporting a third party,” reads the memo, which was first reported by Politico.

“However, alternative candidates are also pulling votes from Donald Trump. All candidates continue to hold the Democratic base,” it continues.

“Voters are looking for a fresh face,” the memo confirms, as concerns about Biden’s age and mental fitness reach fever pitch following the president’s appalling debate performance.

But Americans don’t want Harris, 59, either, the poll highlights.

“Nearly twice as many voters say delegates should nominate the best candidate over picking the next in line,” it notes, adding that: “Those more closely tied to the current administration perform relatively worse than other tested candidates.”

The BlueLabs Analytic memo comes as congressional Democrats are still placing public pressure on their octogenerian party leader to withdraw from his 2024 re-election effort.

“Democrats are so desperate to dump Biden they are putting out a massive sample size survey that proves Trump is really hard to beat at this point,” GOP pollster Brent Buchanan said of the memo’s release.

“Dems can’t spend enough to prop up a new candidate on the national stage while a fully-defined Trump emerges from the RNC convention united and poised to outspend and take on whoever Dems put up.”

Meanwhile, Trump, 78, is ahead of Biden “comfortably” in the seven battleground states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada and Arizona, according to Democratic PAC data leaked by Puck News earlier this month.

At least 20 Democrats have urged Biden to suspend his campaign since his disastrous debate performance against Trump on June 27, during which he spoke with a soft, raspy voice, stumbled over his words and delivered incoherent answers at several points.

A Data for Progress post-debate survey of swing, or undecided, voters released Wednesday found 53% worried about the 81-year-old president’s age. Only 37% were more concerned about the criminal charges against Trump.

Top Line Findings from BlueLabs Analytics polling memo

  • Alternative Democratic candidates run ahead of President Biden by an average of three points across the battleground states. Nearly every tested Democrat performs better than the President. This includes Vice President Harris who runs better than the President (but behind the average alternative).
  • Some of the gains are coming from winning undecideds and those previously supporting a third party. However, alternative candidates are also pulling votes from Donald Trump. All candidates continue to hold the Democratic base.
  • Voters are looking for a fresh face. Those more closely tied to the current administration perform relatively worse than other tested candidates.

A pre-debate survey conducted by the think tank found that 41% of respondents were concerned about Biden’s age and mental acuity — a whopping 12-point difference.

The survey results signify a dramatic shift in concern away from Trump and his legal woes and toward Biden in the aftermath of the June 27 debate.

Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business expenses in May.

The alarming polls come as Biden reportedly held a “tense” Zoom call with dozens of moderate Democrats last weekend — just an hour before the assassination attempt on Trump.

According to sources who spoke with Puck News, the oldest-ever president lost his train of thought and rejected their concerns about his 2024 bid tanking.

Biden then authored a letter to lawmakers on Capitol Hill that he was “firmly committed” to staying in the race.

Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas), the first House Democrat to publicly call on Biden to step aside, came forward again on Wednesday to urge the part leader to reconsider.

“My call for President Biden to step aside remains even more urgent. Our decision must consider the reality of steadily worsening poll numbers, not just more wishful thinking,” he said in a statement.

The Democratic National Committee has now pushed plans to electronically vote to nominate Biden back to August due to the Democratic disdain, scrapping a potential digital roll call that could have locked him in as the nominee in July.
