Bomb threat reported at Saskatoon’s Royal University and children’s hospitals

Royal University Hospital and Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital are on lockdown, as police respond to a bomb threat on Thursday afternoon.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority said the hospitals remain on lockdown, and hospital staff and leadership are “working in conjunction with Saskatoon Police to ensure the safety of patients and staff.”

Patients with medical appointments at the affected hospitals will be rescheduled.

The SHA and city police say they will update patients, staff and the public as more information becomes available.
