Miranda Lambert shuts down rowdy concert crowd for causing ‘drama’: ‘It’s always the girls’

Miranda Lambert isn’t here for drama.

The 40-year-old country singer briefly paused her concert at the Under the Big Sky music festival in Montana over the weekend to call out disruptive fans in the crowd.

“I can see that your head is not turned the right way, which is this way,” Lambert said as she pointed to herself in a TikTok video from the concert.

“So, if you came to visit, you can do it somewhere else,” she continued. “If you came to sing and hear some country music and drink some beer and raise some hell, we’re doing that tonight. Are we clear?”

After the audience cheered, Lambert went on, “Are we done with our drama yet? Fighting is not OK.”

“And it’s always the girls. We get crazy!” she added.

The “Hell on Heels” singer picked up a drink and said to the audience, “Cheers, everybody. I’m gonna wait it out. This looks like a good time for a drink, y’all.”

Lambert, who is no stranger to calling people out at her concerts, left her fans divided as they reacted to the TikTok video.

“Miranda Lambert your M.O. really sucks! I mean at every freaking concert. you calling somebody out….. it’s getting old…..very old!” one person said.

“If I spend my own money to go to a show I’ll take a nap if I feel like it…what does it matter to her?!?!” another fan commented.

Somebody else said, “We left before she performed … used to love her 😅 didn’t feel like getting yelled at haha.”

However, other fans praised Lambert for calling out the rowdy concertgoers.

“Honestly she was amazing. We were right up front and loved every second of it,” a commenter said.

“LET THE QUEEN SPEAK!!! Idc I love her,” another fan said.

“Oh I adore her! concerts were much different when I was growing up, and I applaud her!” a different comment read.

Lambert stirred controversy last year when she stopped her Las Vegas show in the middle of “Tin Man” to admonish several fans for taking a selfie.

“I’m gonna stop right here for a second. … These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit,” she told the audience.

“I don’t like it, at all,” Lambert added to cheers from the crowd.

“We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music.”

She then asked the group to sit down before restarting the song.

More recently, Lambert interrupted her concert in Texas in June after noticing fans fighting in the crowd.

“Are y’all fighting during this song? Because I will come down there, and you don’t want that today. We’re not doing that today,” she said as she paused singing “Tin Man” because of the ruckus.

Lambert said “it’s always the girls” fighting and asked security to have the brawlers removed, joking, “She looks about [5-foot-4]. Throw her over your shoulder, man.”
