Travis Hunter trolls Colorado offensive line during ‘College Football 25’ livestream

Colorado cornerback and wide receiver Travis Hunter may want to have his words back after being a little too honest during a live stream where he tested out the new “College Football 25” video game.

Hunter and star quarterback Shedeur Sanders were getting the chance to play the EA Sports game that will be released in stores this week when he seemed to poke a little fun at the Buffaloes’ offensive line.

Hunter was sacked while playing head-to-head with Sanders when he read a comment from a fan in the livestream asking if the O-line was realistic.

“Yes, very realistic,” Hunter said. “They can’t block for nothing.”

Sanders also chimed in in the middle after the comment about it being realistic, asking, “What you mean?”

Hunter will be playing in his second season with Colorado in 2024 after transferring from Jackson State when coach Deion Sanders headed west.

Last season, Colorado’s offensive line took plenty of flack for the number of sacks it allowed.

Colorado gave up 56 sacks on Sanders, who even suffered a fractured back in Week 12 against Washington State.

The Buffaloes used the transfer portal to try and address the situation adding former Houston guard Tyler Johnson and former UTEP inside offensive lineman Justin Mayers.

The video game matchup ended up going in favor of Sanders in a big way, destroying his Colorado teammate, 56-14.

College football season is closing in quickly, and Sanders told reporters last week that Colorado had good vibes in its locker room heading into the new campaign.

“I would describe it as being fun,” Sanders said, according to On3. “Everybody’s out there to have great energy, and practice is definitely very competitive, and there’s no — it’s no hate, it’s no jealousy, it’s no none of that in the locker room.

“We’re missing practice today and everybody, you know, knows we’re here to represent the team. So it’s just fun. It’s fun. It’s just a loving environment, and it’s no jealousy, no envy.”

The Buffaloes are looking to improve after going 4-8 last season.
