Teen girl charged with aggravated assault after weekend stabbing in Saskatoon

Saskatoon police charged a 14-year-old girl with aggravated assault after an incident in the city’s Pacific Heights neighbourhood on Saturday.

Saskatoon police charged a 14-year-old girl with aggravated assault after an incident in the city’s Pacific Heights neighbourhood on Saturday.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Langevin Crescent around 12:20 p.m. and found a 14-year-old boy with injuries that were considered serious but not life-threatening, police said in a news release on Monday.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital.

The accused girl was located and arrested at the scene. The two teens are believed to be known to each other, the release said.
