Early Monday morning, police responded to calls regarding a fatal vehicle collision that closed a major road in southwest Calgary.
At approximately 5:20 a.m. on Monday, police were called to the area of Tsuut’ina Trail S.W. and Anderson Road S.W. for reports of a serious-injury single-vehicle collision.
The ramp from westbound Anderson Road S.W. to southbound Tsuut’ina Trail was closed due to the incident.
Upon arrival, police located a man outside of a vehicle who was pronounced deceased on-scene.
Police believe that the man was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and continue to investigate the incident.
The road reopened around 10 a.m.
