Gwyneth Paltrow’s mom, Blythe Danner, is doing well after suffering a medical scare during a charity event in the Hamptons.

The “Butterflies are Free” actress, 81, was taken away by an ambulance from Springs Food Pantry’s E.A.T. in the Hidden Gardens 2024 event at the Corbett Estate in East Hampton, NY, on Saturday, a source told People.

“It was early on in the event and she sat there for a while as they took her vitals,” the source said, adding, “It didn’t look that bad, but they took her away anyway.”

A rep for Paltrow’s lifestyle brand, Goop, assured the outlet that Danner is “completely fine.”

Page Six has reached out to the mother-daughter duo for comment.

The next day, Paltrow, 51, was seen looking to be in high spirits as she hit the dance floor at Surf Lodge in Montauk during her pal Kate Hudson’s intimate performance.

Danner was previously diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare form of cancer, in 2018.

“It’s a sneaky disease. But I’m fine and dandy now. And I’m lucky to be alive,” she told People in 2022.

The “Meet the Parents” star’s disease was the same kind of cancer that her late husband, Bruce Paltrow, had been diagnosed with before passing away in 2002. He was 58.

“Everyone is touched by cancer in some way, but it’s unusual for a couple to have the same cancer,” Danner said.

After receiving her diagnosis, Danner said she “looked up at heaven and said to Bruce, ‘Are you lonely up there?’”

In 2022, Gwyneth said that her mom was “genuinely one of the strongest people” she knew after Danner underwent three surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

“I hope if I ever go through anything like that, I can be like her,” she told People in 2022.

“She went through it with so much grace. I was amazed at how strong she was able to be,” Gwyneth added.

Danner and the television and film director tied the knot in 1969 and welcomed Gwyneth and their son Jake in 1972 and 1975, respectively.

The Broadway star has kept a low profile over the last few years, though she was spotted popping out with Jake for a New York City walk in June 2023.

A month later, Danner attended Gwyneth’s Goop event in the Hamptons with grandchild Apple Martin.

Danner has been a committed grandmother and was also spotted attending grandson Moses’ high school graduation this past May.
