1990s Rapper, soul-crooner, reality-TV star and Christmas caroller CeeLo Green has had so many irons in the fire over the years that it’s hard to imagine him whittling it all down to a concise show at the Big Four Roadhouse on the second-to-last day of the Calgary Stampede. But the artist is always entertaining and has a large collection of hits to drawn on from various projects.

Alberta country singer-songwriter Drew Gregory has had a number of nights at Nashville North and was a runner-up for the Project Wild contest, cementing his reputation as one of Alberta’s up-and-coming stars. He grew up in Standard, about 90 kilometres east of Calgary, on a grain farm and made his first album of original material in 2007 — initially as a Christmas gift for his mother. Since then, he has released a number of strong tracks and made several trips to Nashville.
