Two people were shot inside Tompkins Square Park in broad daylight Friday, authorities said.
The victims were both blasted in the back around 9:50 a.m. at East 7th Street and Avenue A, within the historic East Village Park, cops said.
Both were taken to Bellevue Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, police said.
No information was immediately available on the victims’ ages or genders.
No arrests have been made, and the motive remains under investigation.
