Miley’s kid sister followed a similar path, arriving on the scene as a precocious child actress/singer before maturing into an angsty young singer-songwriter in her own right. The Grammy-nominated artist released her first full-length, The Hardest Part, in 2022 and was in the spotlight earlier this year with the single How Far Will We Take It? — her duet with Orville Peck.

Who: Dinosaur Jr., The Big Four Roadhouse, 9:30 p.m.

Even though the Calgary Stampede has been offering an increasingly eclectic mix of sounds over the past few years, Dinosaur Jr. is still not the first act that springs to mind when thinking about musical interludes at the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth. This Massachusetts band got its start in the hardcore scene in the early 1980s and became one of the most influential, and fearfully loud, outfits in alt-rock.
