The Yankees have been a terrible baseball team the past few weeks.

After taking a solid lead in the AL East and sitting comfortably as one of the best teams in baseball, things have changed drastically as they now try to just keep grip on a wild-card spot.

Yankees’ YES television voice Michael Kay joined Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman this week on a new episode of “The Show” to get into the recent poor display of baseball from the Yanks.

“The Show” podcast with Joel Sherman & Jon Heyman:

  • YANKEES STRUGGLES: Yankees are playing like one of the worst teams in baseball. Anthony Volpe has to be better. Trent Grisham has been terrible. Aaron Boone has to hold players more accountable. The pitching has not been good.

Michael Kay Interview:
Yankees play-by-play announcer, ESPN Radio NY host

  • RECENT STRUGGLES: How bad have the Yankees been this past month?
  • AARON BOONE: Is Boone too kind publicly when a player messes up? Would they consider replacing Boone?
  • BRIAN CASHMAN: Where do you stand on him? He stays until he retires.
  • JUAN SOTO: How much will it take for the Yankees to keep him?
  • FUTURE: Is there a chance the Yankees miss the playoffs this season?
