Kyle revealed that she and McDavid were at a tasting for their upcoming nuptials in a series of photos posted to Instagram stories. “Had our wedding tasting tonight,” she wrote.
In one photo, she showed the menu items they would be trying that evening. The list included sushi pizza, birria quesadilla, chicken drumette, pork belly satay, spicy falafel, wild mushroom flatbread and wagyu tartar. Other options were gazpacho, and a tomato and burrata salad.
“This cracked me up,” one person wrote. “How much does he make a year and can’t apply sunscreen?”
“McSunburn,” another person said, apparently referring to the red hue of the hockey player’s face.
One person pointed out that their wedding was expected to be on the 27th.
“Hopefully Connor’s learns how to use sunscreen by then,” someone else replied.
The couple, who have been dating for almost a decade, got engaged last June.
“I cannot put into words how happy I am to be spending the rest of our lives together,” Kyle said in the caption of an Instagram post about the engagement.
“I love you more than anything,” she concluded.
