A ranch owner died Tuesday evening when his helicopter crashed south of Invermere, B.C.
Columbia Valley RCMP were called about a privately-owned helicopter carrying two passengers crashing near Brewer Creek B.C. at about 7 p.m.
“Search and Rescue crews were deployed to the area and located the helicopter, and sadly the pilot who was deceased,” B.C. RCMP Cpl. James Grandy said in a release.
Both passengers were found with non-life-threatening injuries and taken to hospital.
The BC Coroners Service and Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
The name of the deceased pilot has not been released.
