Drive-by shooter kills man, crashes car and then steals Citi Bike to pedal away: sources

A drive-by shooter killed a man in a broad-daylight Harlem attack Tuesday – then apparently stole a Citi Bike when he crashed his car, according to sources and footage.

The gunman was driving a white Honda through the intersection of West 118th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard around 1:40 p.m. just outside a senior housing complex when the motorist suddenly opened fire toward a group at the corner, according to cops and video obtained by The Post.

A 37-year-old man was shot in the back, authorities said.

As the suspect drove off, the victim struggled to get back on his feet – which he did for a moment, before collapsing again, footage shows.

He got up a second time and then crumpled on the sidewalk next to a parked car, the clip shows.

He was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.

Meanwhile, the suspect smashed up the front end of his own Honda and ended up with a flat tire while trying to make his getaway, sources said.

He apparently then ripped off someone’s Citi Bike and pedaled away toward the Bronx, the sources said.

No arrests had been made by Wednesday.
