Police are searching for suspects in two stabbing incidents in two days. Both victims were taken to hospital.
Saskatoon city police are investigating two stabbings that happened in the city in two days.
Officers spoke with the victim, who had stab wounds.
“He explained he was stabbed by a female and male trying to steal his bike,” the release said, adding he was taken to hospital with serious injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The female suspect was described as about 25 years old, with brown hair and tattoos on her hands and one of her eyebrows. She was wearing white pants and a dark windbreaker.
The male suspect was described as 6′ tall with average build, short hair, no facial hair and no tattoos.
The victim said one of the suspects wore a black hat and one wore a white hat.
On Tuesday afternoon, around 1:10 p.m., officers responded to reports of an injured person in the 1100 block of Broadway Avenue. Updates came in stating that a man was stabbed and the suspect had fled.
Arriving at the scene, officers found the victim with stabbing-related injuries. He was taken to hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, a police news release said.
