They say: The bestselling lip oil from French brand Clarins takes on a balm form with this new launch. Available in six “natural” shades, the lip product offers a 99 per cent skincare formula, with 96 per cent natural ingredients such as sweetbriar rose oil and jojoba oil, to plump and hydrate lips.

We say: Offering a sheer colour and soft shine, these lip oil balms are perfect for summer. With fuss-free application and a smooth, lightweight feel, they left our tester’s lips feel deliciously buttery with a kiss of colour.

Belif Moisture Eye Bomb.

They say: An eye cream from the iconic Moisture Bomb collection from Belif that features peptides, ceramides and squalane to “flood” the eye area with “explosive moisture” for up to 48 hours.

We say: Our tester applied a small amount of this hydrating eye cream to the eye area. Patted onto skin, it provided an instant cooling effect while also giving skin a welcome “drink” of moisture. With use, she noted a reduction in fine lines and improved texture.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Hot Cheeks Velour Blushlighter.

They say: A limited-edition collection of three universal shades of “blushlighter” — that’s a blush and highlighter mix. With peachy-pink pops of colour, the trio of summer hues has a shimmer finish.

We say: Shine bright this summer — while also boasting a pretty peach flush — with these blushes from the Rihanna-backed beauty brand Fenty. With strong colour payoff and a generous dose of fine shimmer, our tester found this product nixed the need for two products in one, as promised. It’s truly a one-and-done cheek pop product.
