Hallie Crozier wins 102nd Regina Ladies Open golf tournament

Championship trophy named after legendary golfer Joanne Goulet

Playing for the first time in the Regina Ladies Open, Hallie Crozier shot rounds of 77 and 72 to win the 102nd version of the women’s golf tournament.

Crozier, a member of the Royal Regina Golf Club, had a two-round total of 149 to win the championship flight by 14 strokes. The first round was played Monday at the Murray Golf Course. Tuesday’s second round was played at Tor Hill Golf Course.

Sixty players were entered in the event. Crozier won the Joanne Goulet Memorial Trophy, named after the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame inductee who won the tournament 32 times between 1951-94. The tournament was first played in 1921.
