Roadwork to disrupt water service on some streets in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue

Residents on some streets may see a brown discoloration in their water and a drop in water pressure, city says.

The city of Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue is advising residents that “drinking water service will be disrupted on Sainte-Anne St. between Senneville Rd. and Michaud St., as well as on Senneville Rd. between Grier and Sainte-Anne Sts. on Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon” while street work is done.

The work may discolour water in the pipes and/or a drop in water pressure for residents, it says.

“When service is restored, simply let the cold water run from the tap until the water runs clear again,” the city says, adding that there is no health risk.
