Environment Canada issued an alert for heavy rain, golfball sized hail and potential tornados at 4:26 p.m. in south- central Saskatchewan on Friday.

The weather agency said it was a “potentially life-threatening situation” as they tracked the storm, which was 10 km south of Bladworth and tracking slowly towards Davidson, 104 m south-east of Saskatoon.
