England vice-captain Kyle Walker’s ex Lauryn Goodman has spoken out after jetting into the same Euro 2024 match as his wife Annie Kilner on Thursday.
Model Annie, 32, supported her husband from the stands alongside the rest of the Wags – Katie Goodland, Aine May Kennedy, Megan Davison, Tolami Benson – at last night’s game between England and Denmark which ended in a draw.
But all was not smooth sailing as Kyle’s, 34, former partner Lauryn, 33, touched down in Frankfurt and was also spotted outside the Deutsche Bank Park stadium.
Their son Kairo, four, also joined and was wearing his dad’s number two football shirt with the word ‘Daddy’.
Although Annie and Kyle have been together for 15 years and exchanged vows in 2021, Lauryn has proved a source of huge tension between the couple after it emerged that Kairo was Kyle’s son.
After receiving criticism from some fans for choosing to attend, Lauryn took to Instagram stories (on her now-private account) to share the messages of support she had been sent.
First, Lauryn shared the fan message: ‘So so proud of you for going to that match… he’s the one who’s done wrong not you… wish I was as strong as you.’ To which she responded: ‘[Kairo] honestly had the best day, that’s all that matters.’
In the second post, another fan praised her and said: ‘Kairo should one million per cent be at those games. I hope you know how amazing you are and how proud you should be. Shame on the rest of the world for thinking differently.’
Lauryn replied to this message, saying: ‘He woke up this morning going “mummy, can we go again”.
The Manchester City star and the former Towie star share two children, Kairo and an 11-month-old daughter after starting an affair in 2019.
This has caused Annie and Kyle to part ways multiple times, although they are currently together.
The footballer shares four children with Annie – Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and two-month-old baby Rezon.
Lauryn’s arrival at the match yesterday would have been the first time the two have been near one another in months. Although there were some reports she never entered the stadium, it appears she was spotted inside, too.
According to the Daily Mail, Lauryn sat on the opposite side of the field to Annie in a separate stand with her grandfather.
Meanwhile, the Sun reported that a source said Wag security was ‘primed to make sure Lauryn couldn’t get anywhere near the Wags’ area.’
The source added: ‘Lauryn is seen as a bit of a troublemaker and Annie’s worst nightmare was running into her.
‘There was talk of Lauryn’s seats being less than 100 metres away. Annie wants absolutely nothing to do with her.
As for Annie, she was seen reuniting with her husband after the match, although it was not necessarily a happy moment.
‘It looked a little tense between them.
While the result wasn’t ideal, you’d have thought they would have been a little more joyous, at least for their children,’ one eyewitness told MailOnline.
Tensions have further brewed after it was confirmed Lauryn would appear on the next season of Celebs Go Dating.
A TV insider told the Sun: ‘She is quite a sensational signing for the show, not least because she now has a huge profile – and she’s one of the country’s best-known singletons now.
‘Almost every celeb who goes into CGD has some kind of backstory involving their private life, but Lauryn probably has one of the most sensational.’
Kyle and Annie briefly separated earlier this year after Lauryn had her second child with the pro footballer.
In a candid interview with the Sun he apologised profusely to his wife.
‘The only person to blame is me. I have roles and responsibilities that I’m aware of and I’ve made stupid choices. But I need to own up to my mistakes – I owe it to everyone.
‘My actions have caused a lot of pain to a lot of people. I’m sorry because, as a family, this isn’t meant to happen,’ he said at the time.
England’s next Euro 2024 match is against Slovenia on June 25 but it is unclear if both Annie and Lauryn will be in attendance again.
