There was apparently drama brewing off of the pitch at the 2024 UEFA European Championship in Germany.
Manchester City defender Kyle Walker is dealing with another situation involving his wife, Annie Kilner and his ex-girlfriend Lauryn Goodman, who are both in Germany for the tournament, according to The Sun.
The security team for the England players’ significant others was warned to make sure that Goodman “couldn’t get anywhere near the WAGs’ area” to prevent a potential run-in with Kilner, a source told the outlet.
Kilner, who shares four kids with Walker, reportedly kicked the 34-year-old soccer star out of their Manchester home after she discovered he fathered a second child with Goodman while they had briefly split.
The two are now working on their marriage, and she took their sons — Riaan, Roman and Reign and Rezon — to Germany to support him, per The Daily Mail.
Kilner, 32, and the couple’s sons attended England’s 1-1 tie vs. Denmark, which took place at the Frankfurt Arena in Germany on Thursday, and sat with the other wives and girlfriends.
Meanwhile, Goodman was also at Thursday’s match with their son Kairo, who wore a Three Lions No. 2 jersey that read: “Daddy.”
Goodman and Walker also share an 11-month-old daughter.
“Lauryn is seen as a bit of a troublemaker and Annie’s worst nightmare was running into her,” the source said. “There was talk of Lauryn’s seats being less than 100 meters away. Annie wants absolutely nothing to do with her.
“The security team were aware of Lauryn’s presence and were primed to make sure she couldn’t get anywhere near the Wags’ area … But given the sensitivities around it, she was kept well away.”
Goodman said Walker offered her tickets to the tournament earlier this month, according to The Daily Mail, which reported his team denied that.
Walker and Kilner, who are childhood sweethearts, tied the knot in November 2021, but she kicked him out when she learned he was expecting a second child with Goodman, according to The Daily Mail.
“Having their [fourth] son [Rezon] has made Kyle and Annie think about their relationship and they are committed to working on it together,” the source said.
Kilner also attended England’s 1-0 victory against Serbia on Sunday, according to photos on social media.
