A body has been found in the search for Anthony Hill, a former colleague of MoneySavingExpert Martin Lewis who went missing on Monday.

Mr Hill vanished on Monday morning and was last seen was last seen at a Co-op Store on Sprowston Road in Norwich at 9.58am.

The dad-of-two previously worked for MSE before quitting to become a primary school teacher.

Following his disappearnce Mr Hill’s wife, Kayleigh Hill, 36, helped organise a massive search for her husband, taking to Facebook earlier this week to plead: ‘Anyone who has any spare time to help is so much appreciated, I’ll be out there today we need to find my girls’ daddy.’

She added: ‘Please keep looking, please Ant if you see any of this please come home, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been gone just come home we love you and need you back.’

Martin Lewis also made his own appeal for Mr Hill’s safe return, writing on Twitter: ‘This is devastating. Please share.

‘Anthony is a lovely man who used to work on the MoneySavingExpert deals team before leaving to pursue his valiant passion the get into teaching. I hope and pray he’s OK.’

Following a frantic week-long search, Norfolk Police confirmed a body had been found in Norwich last night.

Mrs Hill's appeal came as police released new CCTV images of her husband's last known sightings. The CCTV stills show Anthony at the Co-op Store on Sprowston Road at 9.58am on Monday 17 June 2024. Officers believe he then walked towards Mousehold Heath via Gilman Road. Inspector Adam Binns said: ?We are concerned for Anthony?s welfare and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him on Monday morning when we believe he was travelling on foot in the area of Mousehold Heath. ?Our searches are currently concentrated in this area with specialist search teams including the police drone carrying out extensive searches of the land.? Police are appealing for help to trace a man who is missing from Norwich. Anthony Hill, aged 37, was last seen at 7.45am today (Monday 17 June 2024) when he left his home address on Plumstead Road East.
A body has been found and Mr Hill’s family have been notified by police

A police spokesperson wrote: ‘Police can confirm the body of a man was found in Norwich last night.

‘The body was discovered in an area off Heathgate in the city shortly before 8pm.

‘Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, the family of 37-year-old Anthony Hill, who was reported missing from his home in Norwich on Monday have been informed.

‘The death is not believed to be suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.’

Mr Hill was last seen leaving his home in Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich at around 7.45am on Monday, the morning of his 37th birthday.

CCTV footage showed the teacher at a Co-op Store on Sprowston Road in Norwich at 9.58am before he disappeared.
