Stellantis recalls million-plus vehicles over rearview cameras

Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram are all part of the recall, which covers 126,530 minivans, SUVs, and pickups in Canada

Stellantis is recalling over a million vehicles — including minivans, SUVs, and pickups — in North America due to a software problem that could affect the display from the rearview camera. In the U.S., the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports some 1,033,433 units are covered by the recall campaign, there, while Transport Canada lists another 126,530 vehicles being affected on this side of the border.

Stellantis will notify owners of affected vehicles by mail, and they’ll be advised to take their car or truck to a dealership to update the software, free of charge.
