A 25-year-old man was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in an armed attack in Montreal’s Centre-Sud district.
The incident occurred on Wolfe St., near René-Lévesque Blvd. E.
A 911 call was made around 5:30 p.m. regarding a man on the street who was bleeding.
Officers arriving on the scene found “a man on the ground with injuries to his lower body made by a sharp object,” said police spokesperson Sabrina Gauthier.
The man was taken to a hospital. Montreal police said Saturday evening that his life was no longer in danger.
