Québec solidaire wants the expansion of private health care to stop

QS claims that the number of specialized private clinics has exploded under the CAQ government.

Québec solidaire spokesperson Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois urged the Coalition Avenir Québec government on Wednesday to immediately put the brakes on the opening of private specialized clinics.

At a press conference in front of the Institut de chirurgie spécialisée de Montréal, Nadeau-Dubois and QS health critic Vincent Marissal urged Health Minister Christian Dubé to stop issuing permits for specialized medical centres.

“This two-speed system does not work,” he said.
